*Upon registration, teams MUST PROVIDE CREDIT CARD to be kept on file. Team fee must be paid by the 3rd scheduled night. If not, the balance will be charged to the credit card before the 4th scheduled night.

 

Teams are responsible for paying ref fees.

EACH TEAM MUST PAY THEIR COURT REF $15 CASH BEFORE THE START OF THE MATCH.

must be completed by all players before they step on the court.

TEAM ROSTER

Each team will have a roster.
COED 6s rosters require a minium of 4 total players minimum 1 female. Please see explanation of ghost rule for additional criteria.
Anyone that plays on your team must be on your roster. A player can only be on one roster per league.

  SUB RULE

You can only play on one team per league. A player that subs for more than one team in a league loses there play-off eligibility for all teams in that league.

  MINIMUM PLAYERS FOR A LEGAL TEAM & APPLICATION OF GHOST RULE

A legal team has a minimum of 4 players (1 must be female)
4 players (1 must be female) no ghost (server is the only back row player)
5 or more players 2 must be female or play with ghost to replace missing female
Subs one for one no libero in Coed B and BB.

If both teams are missing a female there will be no ghost point awarded however the ghost will continue to rotate around the court

  EXPLANATION OF GHOST RULE

A Ghost indicates that the team will rotate to serve and sideout/point to the other team for the female player that is missing when it is that players term of service.
This indicates that one or more rotations may have less than 3 players in the front row.

  PLAY-OFFS

The top eight(8)teams will qualify for the play-offs. The play-offs require any participant to have played in a minimum of 3 matches during the regular season or 2 matches in a short season. In the event of an injury the ref, team captain and I will arrive at a fair resolution (a player of equal or lesser ability) to any roster change. Please contact me prior to play-offs.

SEEDING CRITERIA  RECORD, (2 team record tie) 1st head to head record 2nd points scored head to head, (if the two teams didn’t play each other during the regular season) 1st record vs common opponent(s) 2nd  points scored vs common opponent(s) (3 or more team record tie if everyone played each other) 1st record vs all tied teams  2nd points scored vs all tied teams (if all tied teams did not play each other) 1st record vs common opponents 2nd points scored vs common opponents.

*75 min time slot per match. First 75 min time slot begins at 7:15 2nd match slot begins at 8:30 or when the previous match is over (if it runs long)3rd slot begins at 9:45 or when the previous match is over (if it runs long)

Matches are 4 games. Games 1 & 2 are Rally Score to 25 by 2, cap at 27. Game 3 must start before the 40th min, game starting after is 15 point rally, cap at 17. Game 4 must start before the 55th min, game starting after is 15 point rally, cap 17.

*The majority of officiating in volleyball is judgement…keep yours to yourself. If there is a problem please bring it to my attention in a civil manner and I will address it with the staff.

 GENERAL RULES

ALL CONTACT WITH THE NET is illegal.

Players may not touch the side line of other courts or go behind other courts before or after contacting the ball.

A team forfeits when they have no female players present to start the match
and/or less then 4 players total starting 15 mins after the start time and every 15 mins there after. A point will be awarded to the other team each minute leading up to the 15 min forfeit.

Each team gets 2 time outs a game. A time out must be called before whistle is blown for the serve

 CANCELLATIONS

If you can’t field a legal team contact Nick @ 856-845-7353 at least 24 hrs prior to match date so that I can contact my ref and the other team. If possible a make up game could be scheduled.
A “no show” (no notice or insufficient notice) results in a $30 cash penalty at your following match. This covers the ref fees for your team and the team that you were suppose to play against that evening. Make ups will not be scheduled for no shows.
