Scavenger Hunt Night

One of the most fun and exciting things for kids of any age is a good old-fashioned scavenger hunt! Running around, trying to be the first one to find clues and objects is a fun way for your kids to get their pent up energy out in a healthy, safe way. At International Skating and Fun Center in Mount Laurel New Jersey, we love this idea, which is why we are having our very own Scavenger Hunt on Friday May 27th, 2016 right here at our expansive facility!

 

What Is A Scavenger Hunt?
A scavenger hunt, as defined by dictionary.com, is, “a game in which individuals or teams are sent out to accumulate, without purchasing, a series of common, outlandish, or humorous objects, the winner being the person or team returning first with all the items.” At ISC Mt. Laurel, we totally embrace this concept, and are also offering a great deal on Friday. You can get, included in the low admission price of on $5, entrance to our skating rink, FunZone and Adventure Alley for the little ones, unlimited pizza, and of course, all the scavenging fun you could want!

 

What Do The Kids Need To Bring?

Kids, you will need to bring a few things yourself. This will include:

  • Your thinking cap: to navigate the puzzles and do it quickly and efficiently
  • Your sense of fun: as it will be a lot of fun!
  • Your friends or family: because everything is more fun with a friend
  • Your comfy shoes: it is a timed game, after all. You will need to be quick!
  • Your smile: do not worry; we provide all the ingredients to make NOT smiling almost impossible

Who does not LOVE Saturday? It is the one day out of the week that you can kick back, relax, and just breathe. At ISC Mount Laurel, we love Saturdays too, which is why we have amazing deals during our Saturday Night Special! We have two Saturday Specials to choose from: The Family Fun “Super Package” and the Family Fun “Unlimited Package”. Let us highlight the features of each!

The Family Fun “Super Package”
This package is a great deal. Valued at nearly $40, you get this package for less than $30, saving your a total of $10.51! It includes three skating admissions, with skate rentals, and twenty tokens for our arcade. If you need to add another child, it is a steal at only $9.69, which also includes skating admission, as well as skate rentals.

The Family Fun “Ultimate Package”
If you thought the Super Package was a good deal, you will love the ultimate package. It is an even better deal at only $39.99 with a value of $57.50, saving you almost $20! With this package you will get three skating admissions, skate rentals, FunZone admissions, Bounce House Admissions, and 20 tokens for game play! If you need to add another child, it is only $13.39, and it will include everything: the skating admission, FunZone, Bounce House, and skate rentals.

We have lots of exciting things on the horizon at ISC Mount Laurel in the month of May!May is a wonderful month. The weather is warmer, the days are longer, and everyone just seems happier to be rid of the snow (at least mostly). We are celebrating with some very special events coming up, starting with tonight!

 

  • Tonight, Friday May 6th, we are having a Star Wars themed Family Fun Night, in honor of Star Wars Day on May the Fourth. It will be from 5-7:30, and will be tons of fun!
  • Thursday was Cinco de Mayo, but we wanted to extend the fun into the weekend! We are hosting our very own ISC Mt. Laurel Cinco de Mayo Fiesta later Friday night and would love to see you there!
  • Saturday, May 7th, we are honoring the important women in our lives by having a Pre-Mother’s Day Skate
  • Friday, May 13 we will be giving away Angry Birds Movie tickets from 5–7:30pm
  • You know that smell wafting through the air at your local pizzeria? That’s right! We are celebrating all things PIZZA on Friday, May 20th! You will have a blast skating around our rink, eating endless pizza, playing in our FunZone and Adventure Alley!

With spring just around the corner, you may be thinking about getting more physically fit, and why not? With temperatures in the 50’s and 60’s, with the promise of it only getting warmer, it is the perfect time to start planning for warm weather activities!
