Raising Cash for Your Group

Do you belong to a church group, school, business or private organization that is in need of CASH? Then consider letting ISC Mount Laurel be your go-to fundraising facility!

Group Fundraising

No matter what charity or non-profit organization you are a part of, fundraising no doubt almost always plays a key role in your yearly goals. While options such as online and door to door fundraising are available, they are not always the most effective way of gaining money for your organization. Reach to those online and in person can be limited and uncertain due to various factors. However, when you choose a facility that draws a large crowd and offers fun activities (like ISC Mt. Laurel), you have better chances at a sizable audience of people to participate in your fundraising event.

Fundraising FUN!

Need some fun ideas for your next fundraiser? Check out some of the ones below! (While the following ideas would still need to be approved by the facility manager, they can be used in multiple settings):rubber ducks

  • ‘Chuck-a-Duck’ – For this event you’ll need to buy a tarp, paint, rubber ducks and a sharpie. Paint a target on the tarp (you can also use large spool bulletin board paper); then using the sharpie, number the bottom of the ducks 1-20 (or however many you have). Guests to your fundraiser then buy the ducks from your group. At a designated time, the target is roller out in the middle of the floor. A countdown will commence and then your guests will literally ‘chuck’ (throw) the ducks onto the target. The person’s duck closest to the center wins a prize.
  • Jar Counting – A super easy way to raise funds is to have items (jellybeans, beads, etc.) in a clear jar and ask people to submit a guess. Have them ‘pay to play’ and you can even get more donations by charging for a hint (just be sure to only say higher or lower with you hint!) Whoever guesses the right amount or is closest without going over, wins a prize!
  • Raffles – Everyone likes a good raffle! The excitement of reading your raffle ticket when the numbers are called has long been a fun way to earn cash for charity and group organizations. The key with any raffle is to earn more than you spend; so reach out to local business to donate prizes for your next raffle.

We hope you decide to plan your next group fundraising event at ISC Mount Laurel! For more information about our fantastic Group Rentals, Fundraisers or Private Parties, please contact Sara Morante by telephone at 856-273-2828 or via email at Sara@intsports.com.
